Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dear Atlas website at dearatlas.studio (“the Website”) and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order through the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place your order will apply to that order. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
2. About us
Dear Atlas is a trading name of Helium Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
- Website: dearatlas.studio
- Email: hello@dearatlas.studio
3. Order process and acceptance
When you place an order through the Website, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) described in your order. All orders are subject to acceptance by us.
A contract between you and Dear Atlas is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. Until that point, we may decline your order for any reason, including pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.
Your order confirmation email will include your unique order reference number, a summary of the product you ordered (including style, size, material, and framing), the price paid, and estimated delivery timeframe.
4. Products
All Dear Atlas products are custom-made to order. Each poster is produced specifically for you based on your chosen address, artistic style, title text, size, material, and framing options.
The images and previews displayed on the Website are for illustration purposes. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display will exactly match the colour of the final printed product. The finished print may include additional richness such as textures, decorative borders, and post-processing effects that enhance the final product beyond the on-screen preview.
Because every product is personalised and made to order, the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply. This means you cannot cancel or return your order simply because you have changed your mind. This exemption is provided for under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which excludes goods made to the consumer’s specification or clearly personalised.
5. Pricing and payment
All prices displayed on the Website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
We offer free standard delivery on all UK orders. International shipping rates are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods supported by Stripe. Dear Atlas does not store your payment card details at any time.
We reserve the right to update prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed. If we discover a pricing error before your order is dispatched, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.
Discount codes, where offered, must be applied at checkout. They cannot be applied retrospectively, combined with other offers, or redeemed for cash. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify discount codes at any time.
6. Delivery
We aim to produce and dispatch your order within 2–4 working days of order confirmation. Estimated delivery times are:
- United Kingdom: 5–7 working days (free standard delivery)
- Europe: 7–14 working days
- Rest of the world: 10–21 working days
Delivery times are estimates provided in good faith and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to production schedules, carrier issues, customs clearance, or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you if we become aware of a significant delay.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If your order is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 14 days so we can investigate.
For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other charges levied by your country’s customs authority. These are not included in the price shown at checkout.
7. Quality guarantee
We stand behind the quality of every Dear Atlas print. If your poster arrives damaged, defective, or with a significant print or colour quality issue, you are covered by our 14-day quality guarantee from the date of delivery.
To make a quality claim:
- Email hello@dearatlas.studio within 14 days of delivery
- Include your order number
- Attach a photograph clearly showing the issue
Upon review, we will either reprint and reship at no additional cost, or issue a full refund to your original payment method. We aim to resolve all quality claims within 5 working days.
If your order is damaged in transit, we will send a replacement immediately at no cost. You do not need to return the damaged item.
For full details, please see our Returns Policy.

10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price paid by you for that order. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where the delay or failure results from events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, postal or courier delays, industrial action, or failures of third-party services.

We take the privacy of your personal data seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. If you are resident in another part of the United Kingdom, the applicable law of that jurisdiction may also apply.
